Evolving Spirituality for the Next Generation
Faith In Motion combines movement, breathing, emotional regulation and spiritual practices to help children in schools thrive. Our approach is inclusive: activities are designed so every child belongs, regardless of ability, background or belief. Sessions use stretching, prayer and breathwork to help support pupil’s wellbeing. Breathwork provides simple, age-appropriate techniques that calm the nervous system and improve focus, supporting learning and classroom behaviour.
Emotional regulation is taught through short, practical, reflective sessions using things like grounding exercises and reflective pauses—these empower children to manage stress, build resilience and relate kindly to others. Our spiritual practices focus on: mindfulness and gratitude to foster a sense of meaning and connectedness to God. Together these elements create safe spaces where pupils feel able to relax, control their emotions and focus.
Programme delivery can be purely online or hybrid, with Faith In Motion delivering sessions to your school on a weekly basis.
We measure outcomes in wellbeing, behaviour and attainment to demonstrate impact and refine practice. Our programme helps schools cultivate learning environments where movement, breath and spiritual care combine to nurture confident, compassionate children who belong and achieve.
Our Sessions
Our sessions are built around three main ideas:
Prayer:
Prayer anchors each session in stillness and presence. Children pause, breathe, and connect with God through simple liturgical links, Scripture moments, and quiet prayer practices that help them settle, feel safe, and begin the day with intention.
Movement:
Movement brings the Gospel to life through energising, structured routines that build confidence, coordination, and emotional regulation. Children learn to express joy, courage, and calm through purposeful physical activity designed to reset the body and refocus the mind.
Reflection:
Reflection helps children make sense of their feelings, choices, and experiences. Through guided questions, simple journaling, and quiet moments of gratitude, pupils learn to recognise emotions, grow in self‑awareness, and deepen their understanding of Catholic virtues.
Our Story
Faith In Motion was established and developed by a former Catholic Primary educator. It has been designed to help combat rising challenges in child wellbeing, mental health and behaviour difficulties within the Catholic school setting.
Moreover, it was developed to give parents hands-on strategies to help manage challenging behaviours at home, working with schools to create a culture of positive reinforcement and mindfulness.
Founder and Programme Developer,

Furthermore, Faith In Motion aims to support Catholic Primary educators with their own wellbeing, stress levels and rising levels of teacher burnout.
As a qualified practitioner and Personal Trainer, what began as a passion project has evolved into something more.
Our goal is to support as many children and members of staff as possible across multiple dioceses in the West Midlands.
